Computer Science
The ever-growing, advancing field of Computer Science involves the application of working with technology and its technical components. Majoring in computer science would not only provide me with a solid background in technology, but also expose me to the growing world in which technology thrives as the dominant resource to most of society’s daily needs.
This subject area will involve an immense amount of number-crunching - mathematics - an area in which I am exceptionally competent. Calculus, Calculus II, etc. This definitely adds an air of sophistication to the study of computers. I love math, so that’s a huge plus.
Additionally, how can we forget the grand pay-check a career in technology can supply? I would be undeniably comfortable financially, and the fact that I’d be working for Google or another major tech-oriented company will only add to the financial benefits.
Pre-Medicine
The renown medical field will never fade in its respect to its cruciality in society. Everybody, at some point in time, will need the assistance of trained professionals skilled in the realms of medicine and caring for a patient’s biological needs.
The bulk of the course work a pre-med major must accomplish includes Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. Indeed, this amounts to many sleepless nights and countless hours of studying. Of course, how can we forget the forever dreaded Organic/Inorganic Chemistry.
Pre-Law
The prospect of my being a powerful, articulate district attorney in the near future is gentle, harmonious music to my ears. It’d be a dream come true to be able to fight for a client’s rights and retain an aroma of respect from all of my fellow colleagues.
Majoring in the pre-professional area would require many liberal arts courses and of course, a philosophy course. I’d also most likely have to improve my Spanish language and literature comprehension skills in order to serve as a bilingual lawyer.
Forensic Science
This area of study will require an in-depth analysis of the criminal world and the understanding of criminal minds. Definitely, advanced biology and chemistry courses will be a must to build a strong foundation in the sciences heavily required in this career path.

Political Science
A political science major is the first step to a career in government institutions and political leadership. Becoming a powerful, influential figure in the governmental arena sounds like a dream come true as well.
Liberal arts and social science courses a understandable requirement. Communication enhancement will also prove its significance in this field of study. Definitely, taking AP Government and Politics will expose me to the broad world of leadership and politics.
Mathematics
My favorite subject is most like English or Mathematics. I am enthralled by the math world and the idea of taking four years of college-level Statistics and Calculus sounds like pure fun.
In a real-world scheme, a Mathematics careers receives an exceptional income level, which is another plus.
