It is a great place. We loved the feel of campus and really everything except the dorm situation. Our kid just decided with subjects in which he is interested, he would be a better fit elsewhere and he stopped providing info to CofC. Best of luck to everyone, and as the book accurately says, “Where you go is not who you will be.”
Thank you for updating. We had a messy situation with the application too. So much so that there’s still some authenticator on my phone for them. I usually stay out of this kind of stuff but there were ongoing tech difficulties for applying for scholarships.
It’s fine of course because they are other schools. I think my son may have enjoyed the overall 67% F ratio since his interests are STEM that is unfortunately still M dominated.
How long ago did CofC announce that deposits would not be due until May 15?
Question for CofC parents of older kids: How are you feeling in general about the academics? We are out of state and my only experience is with my older kid thru the University of California system, which has been beyond excellent. Curious if any out of state families feel like CofC is worth the tuition/total cost.
