For all the high/mid-high stats students I just wanted to suggest an option that was highly enjoyable, and successful for me. COC Honors, and the Medical University of South Carolina. So often I see very good students looking for advice on where to go for pre-med. I studied in Charleston for 8 years, then Stanford for residency. It is a great option in a great city. I will also add that scholarships were available at each step of the way, and that truly helps when starting out in your career.

Congratulations to you. College of Charleston is a great school. But simply attending that college will not guarantee an admission to any medical school.
And it certainly doesn’t guarantee a residency at Stanford.
Adding…is this recent or a generation ago?
This was the Jurassic period I believe ( I’ll need to check the dates). However, as I know several current students traversing this course, it still remains a very good path.
