<p>Thanks for sharing. This is interesting. Son has received generous FA/scholarship offers from schools he is not even applying to. Hard to figure it all out or understand the rationales in play but important more than ever to get the most available.</p>

<p>No problem! Usually, schools will offer money to excellent students in order to attract them to their school over other schools where that excellent student may just be one of thousands of excellent students. It’s a bit like football recruitment. </p>

<p>I think the best thing to do is find the school that’s best for you.</p>
