<p>i don’t really know much- i drove by it this week because i was in charleston and i thought it was absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. i looked up the admissions stats and it seems to have a decent student body.</p>
<p>It’s a public school with a private college feel to it. Think of the College William and Mary. Generally, a rather upscale undergraduate student body. Particularly strong in Biology. A urban campus snug in a Charleston neighborhood, so student housing and car parking are in somewhat short supply. In recent years the school has attracted more non-residents from the northeast.</p>
<p>I visited Charleston when I was looking at schools. It was a nice school, and I absolutely loved Charleston. However, I did not particuarly want to be in a city and Charleston is a very southern city. Great marine biology program too.</p>
