<p>COL is way more than a Great Books program. Some of the greatest teacher/scholars in the history of American letters have passed through its portals; mention, N.O. Brown or, John Cage and people still genuflect. COL is one of those things that can only be described by its course list (and yes, the actual major is “College of Letters”) : </p>
