College of Liberal Arts

I am still trying to decide if I will attend Auburn in the fall. I love campus and the friendliness of the students–I think that I could be very happy there. I am concerned about the quality of academics, specifically in the College of Liberal Arts. While Auburn is known for certain programs, liberal arts does not seem to be as prestigious. My other option is a small liberal arts school with a well established international studies program and excellent professors. However, I simply am not as excited about the social aspect of such a small school. So, please help me!

Are the professors knowledgeable and accessible?
What are the classes like?
What about access to internships?
Study abroad?
History and Political Science departments?
I am also curious about the foreign languages department because I will probably minor in French.

Then Click on Liberal Arts… it is the student survey of how those that Graduated from Liberal Arts in 2009 answered questions.

For all… there are ton of statistics starting here: https://oira.auburn.edu/default.aspx

From class sises to how many professors have advanced degrees, to average professor and asst. professor salaries, to student demographics, surveys, graduate information, those that got jobs upon getting a degree, etc… A lot of good info. All split out by colleges, majors, etc…
