I applied and got into the NYU Nursing BS program and I’m still deciding whether to attend or not. Does anyone know if I will be considered a registered nurse at the end of my four-year program? Like…is there a test that I will take at the end of the BS program for me to become an RN? I just don’t know if it’s worth the money to go to NYU if I won’t be a registered nurse after the four years…

At the end of your 4 years you will have a Bachelor’s Degree and be eligible to take the licensing exam. In order to practice as a registered nurse (ie get a job) you have to be licensed and the only way to do that is to take and pass the licensing exam. There are much cheaper schools that offer a degree in nursing.
