For any families that haven’t seen this, yet. A very neat view of the college. Beautiful in the snow! Live from the Wren Yard | Historic Campus | William & Mary

Does anyone know when RD notifications were sent out last year?

According to the calendar on this site, last year they were sent on Friday March 22.

Thanks. Do you know if they have released merit scholarship decisions? Does that come out with RD or are those notifications sent earlier?

The 1693 scholar finalists have already been notified. That’s the only merit award unless your student qualifies for the William and Mary Scholars program.

I thought they also notified Monroe scholars earlier? Also, when were the 1693 finalists notified?

1693 semi finalists were notified in Jan. They are doing finalist interviews soon. Monroe recipients were notified with the ED acceptances. I haven’t heard of any RD students getting them yet. The Monroe is a research stipend, not any tuition discount.

My daughter did too and she also got a $10K per year scholarship + $4K research stipend…they said in her letter it was the first year they are giving out merit money to OOS students with Monroe.

Yes, my daughter just got the same exact offer with Monroe scholars as oos student

Maybe only Monroe Scholars or only acceptances. Nothing yet in our portal.

Monroe scholarship offers come a bit earlier than RD.

How much earlier? Did you have an email?

They don’t ever give merit to Monroe in state, I assume?

They do

Monroe notifications came out today. RD will be around March 22.

Haven’t heard yet from the twins; not sure if that means they didn’t get it or if they’re just busy doing after-school things and haven’t checked their email. Either could be the case! Blerg!
