<p>Could someone please explain to me why have all the colleges scheduled their admitted freshman preview days so close together and many on the same days??? On another note, as all admissionsletter state," acceptance is conditional to maintaining currrent grade standards…" Do they even think what missing 2 weeks of school will do to a student’s GPA, especially if taking a college course!! It’s really absurd because of course it IS nice to be able to really view a campus for serious consideration and evaluate for the important May 1 decision but good grief, Harvard, Princeton, UPenn are all on the same days!!</p>
<p>In the northeast at least a ton of the college preview days and other activities are scheduled close together becasue they are scheduled during the public school vacation week … so for most students can get 3-5 college visits into their vacation week.</p>
