<p>Not just at cornell, but at other colleges too, but are there class rankings based on your gpa? Like when you graduate are you told what rank and decile you are in the class and who the valedictorian and salutatorian are? Or are the student speakers at graduation simply preselected based on grades and interviews?</p>
<p>The only way you’d know what percentile you were is if you get into some kind of honor society that only accepts people with a certain percentile of GPA like top 10% in CAS etc.</p>
<p>I thought Cornell engineering school actually ranks its students.</p>
