Hey guys first off I’d like to thank everyone/anyone who reads/comments on this thread for spending their time to help me.

I sorta made a list of the colleges I know of that I am interested in, but I really have no clue about “college” in general. I am an asian guy (will omit race in application) living in Fairfax County in Northern VA and would like to go to colleges in the EAST or WEST coast. I need to be at least 1-2 hours from the sea. Just in case :P. I am interested in Pre-med, but recently I have been thinking twice about it. I realize that I am far too naive and young to even consider my future career and I will open myself in college.

Can you please add onto what colleges I should to apply for and correct my rankings of which colleges on my list is a safety, normal, and reach for me? Here is some info about me:

SAT(took 2 times):
1st time: 2020 (CR: 570, M: 690, W: 760)
2nd time: 2070 (CR: 640, M: 800, W: 630)
Superscore: 2200
I plan on taking it one or two more times focusing on CR primarily, boosting my superscore.

GPA:
Unweighted: 3.7 (maybe lower)
Weighted: 3.85
Gonna kill myself self studying with many AP classes next year…(quit slacking off)

AP:
10th: AP World History: 4
AP Comp Science: 4
11th: BC Calculus: 4
AP Chem: 4
AP US History: 3 ![]()
12th: I plan on taking 4-5 AP’s (Psych, Euro, Gov, Multivar (weighted as AP), Enviro)

Extracurricular:
NIH volunteer (just started)
Math Varsity (2 years ranked within top ten both years)
Debate Club member (2-3 years, haven’t actively participated)
NHS, SHS member
No leadership positions.
Here I admit I am weakest. I don’t do any school sports, and don’t participate in many clubs. I plan on fixing that next year, and hopefully plan to make a club.

Extra info:
I am currently taking college NOVA “Auto Cadd I” classes over the summer, and am pretty sure I can ace the class.
My teacher rec’s are more-or-less secure and plan on asking teachers for rec’s in the 1st-2nd week of class.
I will get a job at a doctors office soon, and it is pretty much secure for me (Sat. 8 AM-4 PM)
I have many good connections (heh heh) with an interviewer for Brown (Undergrad?), and a worker in the Admissions Department for Georgetown (Grad).
Family (cousins) history of successful alumni’s from Harvard, Yale, and MIT (doubt it would help)

Anyways, here are the colleges that I am interested:
Super Stretch: Cornell, Brown
Stretch: UVA, JHU
Normal: VTech
Safety: VCU, GMU

Here are some cali schools that I dont know where to rank: UCLA, CalTech, Berkley. Please correct my list if its wrong, and sort those 3 schools, and add onto my list please! Opinions are also greatly accepted.

Once again. THANKS A LOT for those who are helping.
