Through collaborative efforts with Naviance, eduDOCS has been tightly integrated with WorkspaceK12®, allowing any high school in the Naviance Network to submit all supporting documents for students’ college applications to nearly 800 colleges and universities – including every Common Application member institution. For the first time, schools can send electronic documents to most, if not all, of the colleges their students apply to, saving thousands of dollars in paper, printing, and postage.

<p>That’s pretty neat. It will take a while to get used to the system, but someday we’ll all be quite familiar with electronic letters of recommendation. That will make the application process more convenient than ever for all concerned. </p>

<p>P.S. Naviance and College Confidential are both owned by the same company, Hobson, but I know no more about this than you know from reading the press release.</p>

<p>Woah that’s amazing. Saves a lot of paperwork. Question is, will colleges be able to let us know that they were recieved almost instantaenously (or just sooner)?</p>

<p>Interesting. Our school doesn’t have naviance; I had never heard of it before reading about it here. I guess a lot of schools will still have to use paper and snail mail.</p>

<p>That’s great news, but easier+more efficient=more apps, but I’d say the environmental impact is well worth it.</p>
