So, to give a little backstory here I’m not doing so well. I graduated high school/entered college when I was 15 and promptly failed my first two years of community college and was expelled. Though I was accepted to return the next semester. I’m not just some lazy person by the way, I was struggling with undiagnosed PTSD,depression and had sepsis at one point and couldn’t finish the semester or drop with a w at that point.
So you can imagine my gpa isn't great (a 1.4 actually). Though I did talk with a college admissions center which I want to go to and they mentioned it would help me immensly to have two semesters of good grades. I'm in the middle of my second now, and have about a 2.75-3.4 (based on unofficial grades so far for those two. I'm aware I'm not a good candidate colleges are looking for.
So on to the question! Last year I was told I was exempt from the college report by the school I was applying to. But now I have to submit it and based on what it looks like, I’m worried my school will essentially say ‘Don’t take this student’ or something along those lines.
Is the college report a huge factor in getting accepted? Will colleges even stop to look at my mid year report if they see a bad college report?
