I have seen the stanford college republicans website and it looks pretty good. How influential/respected are they actually on campus?

when I was at Admit Weekend…I went to the Stanford Democrats table and when I was talking to the president about the competition on campus…she said “we dont have much.”

Hey. I am a conservative and member of the College Republicans. It is true Stanford is generally a liberal campus, but there were quite a few Bush voters in my dorm, and the atmosphere at Stanford is not really hostile to conservatives like it is at some schools. There is also a conservative newspaper published I think every 2 weeks or every month, which is very well put together. It had the power to influence the student body to revoke Mecha’s special fees a year ago because of racism in their charter.
