College seems to be a dream

<p>Hello all</p>

<p>I am an international student who really wants to get into universities in America.
I did well in my 9th and 10th (about 3.8+ gpa)
But, I had some inevitable reason (financial and medical problem which therefore caused the psychological problem) and screwed my 1st IBDP year. (about 3.2 gpa).
If I study hard from now on and increase my gpa by alot, will I have a chance to get into the good universities in US?</p>

<p>Um… those colleges that international students have heard of before…
Including state universities that have a good alumni network and most importantly, the after graduation job opportunity</p>
