College Selection

so every school has a large amount of students participate in co-ops…i think 40-50% of clemson engineering students participate in co-op

Rose-Hulman is seeking to increase its percentage of international students AND even out the male/female ratio, so you still might have a shot.
Kettering, WPI, and Michigan Tech could be good fits as well.

To clarify…

I didn’t realize that blaw was posting stats for UAH in general. I thought he was posting about the engineering program. Therefore that stat may not have anything to do with the engineering program. I wouldn’t be surprised if the engineering grad rate was 4-5 yrs since many of the kids are on a co-op schedule which tends to follow a certain academic/work path done in a certain order.

I haven’t checked UAH’s policy for AP credit. If it’s generous, then it may be easy to graduate in less than 4 years.

Of course, there are some people who work at various companies at Research Park who go to school part-time (their choice). That would cause them to take longer.

UAH engineering students who follow the path can graduate on time.

Re…Rose-Hulman…

Yes, it wants women. Yes, it’s a great school. Son’s female friend goes there. It is in the middle of nowhere; some kids don’t like that.

But, check out their website.
