<p>I’ve been meaning to transfer from a state school to an out-of-state school (e.g. an Ivy), and to just to improve my chances of getting accepted I was looking for summer programs in UChicago, Stanford, etc. I was wondering if finding a summer program for current college students would look good on a transfer application. It costs money, so I was wondering if there’s any way to get financial aid for these programs. If it does help, any suggestions for any programs and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>The expensive summer programs are no different for transfer as they are for fr admissions, they will have no affect on admissions. Don’t know about FA, but I think it would be rare as these are really intended to be money making endeavors for the colleges.</p>
<p>i think these will be a waste of time. you’d be better off doing an internship or taking summer classes.</p>
