<p>Hey everyone, I’ve been looking at a lot of different colleges lately, but there are just so many that I’m not sure if I’m looking at the right ones. I’m a Texas resident, but I’m looking at schools across the US. I’m in the top 10% of my class, and my SAT score was 1830. As of now, I’m hoping to teach biology at either a middle school or high school level. All suggestions are appreciated!</p>
<p>If you would like to teach, check the teacher credentialing requirements in the state you would like to teach. Check whether your selection of university matters for that purpose.</p>
<p>Top 10% should get you into Texas public universities other than Austin, for which top 8% may be needed.</p>
<p>I’ve learned from different sources that to teach biology, I would need to major in biology and minor in education. Are there any schools known for having a particularly strong reputation in biology?</p>
