<p>If touring colleges in the San Diego area (UC San Diego, San Diego State, University of San Diego or Point Loma) I highly recommend Hodads. The bacon cheeseburger was featured in the Food Networks Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. The walls are covered with license plates and the burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes can’t be beat.</p>

<p>If touring Chapman in Orange I recommend Bruxie (gourmet waffles) or The Filling Station. </p>

<p>Anyone else have a restaurant suggestion for someone on a college tour?</p>
