College Transcripts

Does college transcripts show number grades or letter grades only?

Should be both. They should show number of credits for the class, GPA of the class, and corresponding letter grade from the GPA.

number grades as in percentage? No, not usually, since college courses are often graded on a curve, so an A in one class might be 60%, but another 95%. It usually has what @NHuffer‌ said from above. Your grade in the course is converted to a letter grade based on the professor’s grading scale, then the letter grade is converted to GPA on the university scale. So say you get a 93 in a class. Based on the professor’s scale, this is a B+. Now going to the university scale, perhaps a B+ is a 3.3/4. This would be what is used to calculate your GPA and would be reported along with the letter grade.

My unofficial transcript only has letter grades (meaning, it doesn’t include percent grades), so I’m assuming it’s the same for the real one.

That is correct. Transcripts won’t have percentages. Letter grades and GPA only.
