How many college units are in a month?
School isn’t really divided into months – more usually semesters, trimesters, or quarters. Is that what you’re asking about?
I was just searching on a university and I saw 300$ per unit so I was just wondering how many units are there in a mknth so I will know how much I will spend but I guess you could convert in to semesters
Search a little more about that particular school – at some schools, 1 class = 1 unit/credit, and at others 1 class = 3 units/credits, or any other number. At many schools, though (like mine), if you take more than a certain number of units/credits, you pay one flat tuition fee instead of paying per credit.
Ah!! I get it thanks so much!
At most schools a unit (or credit) represents one hour spent in class per week. So a class that meets on MWF for 1 hour each would be worth 3 credits whereas a seminar that meets for one hour every week would be worth 1 credit.
There’s generally a credit limit beyond which you’re considered a full time students. Full time students generally pay a flat tuition rather than per credit.
