College with the Best ROTC program Scored 85 on ASVAB

My daughter is a junior in high school. SHe has been in jrotc for two years. It started as something to do. SHe had always had her sites on going to law school. Now she got the results from her ASVAB a couple days ago and she scored an 85. I called around a couple places and apparently thats real good. You should have seen the excitement in her eyes. I realize now she may very well want to make this a career. DUe to her age, she wont be able to go directly in the military or into a military academy after she graduates.

I have called a couple of schools with rotc program and they have stated no problem.

She is the first in my family to go to college so I have no idea where to start with this shift in interest.

ANy help or advice would be appreciated …Thanks

You’re sure her age is not good for an academy?

What exactly does she want to do?
If she wants to be an officer in the military, ROTC or a Service Academy is a great choice. That said, the ASVAB does not really factor into officer commissioning programs (at least for the AF).

Generally, if a student is 17 when they start, they’ll need your signature to begin a military program.
