I am so utterly confused.
I have a low gpa (2.0) thus I have counted on collegeboard to ROUGHLY match where I could potentially get accepted.

On the collegeboard website it says that Long Island University has:

9% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher
12% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74
8% had h.s. GPA between 3.25 and 3.49
17% had h.s. GPA between 3.0 and 3.24
32% had h.s. GPA between 2.5 and 2.99
19% had h.s. GPA between 2.0 and 2.49
3% had h.s. GPA between 1.0 and 1.99

On the Long Island University it says that high school applicants need a REQUIRED minimum GPA of a “solid B, 82-85, 3.0”

First I thought I read it wrong. Meaning that the criteria given on the collegeboard website was an overview of freshman students in the college already accepted. However it says H.S. = High School

A full 19% has a gpa between a 2.0 and 2.5, when the required GPA is a 3.0? I’m confused.

I thought this was a school that I could potentially match to, but apparently I’m not even eligible to apply. Please fill me in and help me.
