Hey, I’m sure every QuestBridge applicant has thought of applying to a school that wasn’t a QB partner school. I know I have. That being said, what colleges and universities do you guys wish were partner schools?

Here is my list:
UCLA
UCSD
Hamilton College
Colgate University
Pitzer College
Harvey Mudd College
Claremont McKenna College
Macalaster College
Kenyon College
Skidmore College
Cornell University
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
Case Western Reserve University
University of Wisconsin - Madison
University of Illinois - Urbana - Champaign
University of Washington

And of course…

17) Harvard University

I realize this is a pretty long list and I probably would’ve had a much harder time deciding my eight schools. Also, when you list your schools, take into account that all QB schools are in the top fifty of either National University Rankings or National Liberal Arts Colleges Rankings

I thought a lot about this too. I wish Duke and Wash U took part of QB. Aside from safeties and my QB rankings, these are the only other schools I plan to apply to RD if I don’t get matched.

I have insider information that Quest is considering 10-11 new partner colleges ;D They didn’t give the names of the college, but they told us they can’t drastically add new partner schools because the program has to grow as the schools grow.

Many of the schools you all listed may become partner colleges in the future!

I’d like to see Colorado College and Whitman College because they are in areas that are geographically under-represented in QuestBridge. I’m sure there are more that fit that criteria.

Berkeley
Georgetown
Harvard
There are no southern schools other than Emory, and although I was specifically avoiding southern schools, it still slightly irritates me that the area is so underrepresented (as was the midwest, in my opinion).
