Colleges cutting off essays after word limit?

<p>Does the Common App online do this for them? Because if so, I think I went over on all my supplemental essays, and this would be a problem.</p>

<p>Can’t imagine it would. They must know that some people include headings that are not part of the word count.</p>

<p>Probably has more to do with the print preview function. Generating PDFs from Web forms is a bit tricky. See this post for an explanation:
