Would someone provide some reaches (as in the best schools for the majors), pretty good (as in you could get in practically with only a 2400 and 4.0. No EC) and safeties. I think I’m mostly good in the safeties department (a lot of schools auto admit nation merit). I am most concerned about which reach is the best, perhaps for my own interest.
For reaches, I was looking into Stanford, CIT, and maybe Harvard (it has a very weird double major system. I have no clue if you can even double major Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering here).
Semi reaches
Harvey mudd? (I actually don’t know much about this school) NYU ???
For matches, I was considering UCSD and UCI I don’t know many schools outside of west coast.
For safeties, I was considering UC Davis, Santa barbara, and some of the schools that are auto admit to Nation merit scholars (like new mexico state?)
I am actually not 2400, 4.0 and no EC, but evening out my stats, it is somewhat close. (I am somewhat stronger in EC, so that will help some “diversity” factor?)
I am a California resident and looking into medical school afterwards, but people change, and I simply wish to follow what I enjoy, which is Biology, chemistry, and computer science for now.
