It’s wonderful when posters can share details so others can learn from the experiences. But I can also understand that this can be difficult for some - for a variety of possible reasons.

Congrats Mdmom! Where is your D going to attend?

Congratulations to 911 and mdmom kids! Really, really, really great news. Did I mention it’s really great news?

Mazal tov MdMom! Nice to come home to good news.
Is it the Woody Allen Jew in me that feels badly for those who didn’t get good news today?

Mdmomli: congrats!!!..did I miss which school at Cornell she will be attending?

We don’t even have a student in this year’s process and I must have heard at least 10 Cornell acceptances last night…so happy for everyone…

Rodney - sending you a pm. Trying to keep some of the identifying details off of cc.

Thanks to everyone. And good luck to everyone still waiting for results.

Our school has been somewhat a feeder school to Cornell lately. The past few years, 10-15% of the graduating class has been admitted. There are over 50 grads from our school currently at Cornell, including 22 freshmen. We were stunned to hear that only one kid was accepted ED this year. There were several deferrals, and some outright declines. Looks like Cornell is getting even tougher. Or maybe our guidance counselor is no longer sleeping with their admissions guy.

(please, I kid.)

Mdmomfromli, what wonderful news! Congratulations!!!

Chardo, lol!

mdmom, congratulations to your daughter! great news!

Congratulations to you and your daughter Mdmom!

Today, my dd got accepted to her first choice school, Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota. She just got her portfolio in about a week and a half ago, so this is very exciting! She still has four schools out, and I am interested in how she will do. Some of those are universities and may be more relevant admissions for other kids. Adding her to the list!
