Colleges for Type B personalities?

I just finished reading the “Why Not to go to Harvard” thread and one of the points was that a Type B personality would be annoyed by all the craziness of the Type A personalities there.

So in CC poster’s opinions which schools are considered a good match for a top notch student with a Type B personality?

The first that comes to mind is Brown, from which I get a far more laid-back vibe than from any other Ivy or comparable school. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s just how it seems to me.

Wesleyan, Vassar.

Can you give me a link to that thread?

I second the suggestion of Brown. Maybe Dartmouth would be good for you as well.

Its called Don’t Go To Harvard

Rice! Yea, yea, I know it’s in Texas. Give it shot, and at least read its forum here on CC and my post lamenting the fact that I couldn’t attend. Good luck with your search!

The South is much more laid back than the Northeast. The Midwest is also pretty laid back. I’d suggest aiming your search there.
