colleges give money??

<p>what are some colleges that give out a lot of good scholarships or aid packages? </p>

<p>-no state schools
-for the average joe (3.3 uwgpa, 1800 sat)</p>

<p>why no state schools? from what I know, it will be very difficult to compete with other people for scholarships at private school. The scholarships that I know of have average GPAs of 3.7+ and SAT scores of 2100+</p>

<p>there are a lot of private schools that offer merit scholarships - they usually have a matrix with gpa and sat’s and offer based on that.
