I know there are a number of colleges that have implemented tuition freezes in the past few years (U Wisconsin and Purdue come to mind). But are there any that have actually cut their prices - or are planning to? And if there are any colleges that have cut prices, how has that worked out for the school in terms of attracting more students and/or providing a quality education?
Our state is definitely raising prices, not lowering and trying to figure out how to keep its athletic dept afloat.
