I’m transferring to Florida because I have a Florida pre-paid college plan. I would like to go to Naples if there is any decent colleges there, but i cannot think of any.

State university Florida Gulf Coast University is located between Ft. Myers and Naples, about 25 miles north of Naples up I-75.

There are only 4 non-profit baccalaureate colleges within 50 miles of Naples:
Hodges
Edison State
Florida Gulf Coast
Ave Maria

Beyond that you have to go to Miami.

Everyone in Naples is 70 years old!

I would suggest FGCU in the Naples/Fort Myers area. It’s the better school in the location.

I just moved to this area and there is NOTHING to do. I used to live in PA, in a small town with like three grocery stores, four bars, one shopping center, and there is way more stuff to do there than around here. If you want to move to Florida, I suggest you look elsewhere. Miami, Tampa, Orlando, hell even Tallahassee. Seriously, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Even the people who live here are trying to get out.

I wanted to to FGCU too, I’m glad I lived here before jumping ship.
