Hi, I am looking for a small liberal arts college in NC that has a good history and theater program, with a double major, and not too hard to get into. Any reccomdentations? Thanks!

hmm well Davidson is great… but hard to get into. UNCA is one of the few State Liberal Arts Colleges. Not sure about those specific programs… but it is a really nice school and not that hard to get into. Also, if you live in NC its cheap!

Elon is good for the arts. It’s a private school, so it’s kind of expensive. I also second the recommendation of UNC-Asheville. Neither are all that hard to get into.

Elon sounds perfect for you. It’s a great school not too far from Duke/UNC/NC State, and it’s fairly small. It’s slanted toward females (60:40, maybe?), which can be a plus. It’s become more selective, but it’s still not terribly difficult to get into. It has an excellent musical theater program.

Ncsa…

NCSA is my DREAM school, I would love to go there, but it it so hard to get into.

What about Catawba College? I have heard they have a good theater program. Don’t know about history.
