We are from Bay Area, CA. Asian male student, HS Class 2026, gpa 3.6 (UW)
Looking for some safety schools in the East and West Coast. SAT score is 1280, trying again next month, hoping for a better score. Have taken 5 AP, (scores were 3, 3,3, 4,5), taking 4 AP in senior year.
Eagle scout, marching band 4 years, lot of leadership roles, active in school clubs, volunteering at a hospital for 2 years but have not done any research work.
Biology or related major, wanting to apply to med school someday. I know that’s a long way from now. We don’t qualify for financial aid, so hoping for some merit money.
mid-size, urban school is preferred.
Please suggest some safety schools.
He will apply to UC and CSU schools but gpa is not very competitive.
Upitt, Umass-Amherst, UDel, Hofstra, Clark, Stony Book are some of the schools in the list.
