<p>There are 66 colleges in the US that meet 100% of need for everyone. Only three that are Catholic - Boston College, University of Notre Dame, and College of the Holy Cross.</p>

<p>D has applied to four of those schools, including HC–keeping our fingers “crossed”.</p>

<p>Yep i recently got my financial aid package and i’m getting a lot of money! this was shocking considering it is #16 on princeton review for students dissatisfied with financial aid</p>

<p>I see that Georgetown is also on the list so that should be added to your list of Catholic colleges meeting 100% of need.</p>

<p>Before anyone gets too excited, just remember that these schools that say they will meet 100% of need are only promising to give you financial aid according to “need” AS THE SCHOOL DETERMINES IT. Which may or may not be anywhere close to what you and your parents feel your “need” is!</p>

<p>Also, “financial aid” can include LOTS AND LOTS OF LOANS.</p>

<p>well holy cross offered me a $29,900 need based scholarship and then $10,000 in loans, so i am not too worried.</p>

<p>That’s true, re the loans and “what is need?” and I didn’t find the list that helpful. Drew, which isn’t on it, gave my son a much larger need-based scholarship than Holy Cross (although they did pursue him) and Connecticut College gave the least. They barely covered R&B. Fordham was in the middle and Wheaton MA was next in line after Drew if I remember correctly.
I find all these lists helpful in a sense, but they are far from perfect.</p>

<p>$ 42, 400 (Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship!) Excited, but stinks I can’t go! They didn’t accept me in their premed program…& I"m going to Med School, I need those requirements! :(</p>

<p>I got a good package from them. Almost met my “need” but it was $8,000 of loans. I hate when they do that.</p>
