I would like to start a thread of colleges that were either at or over capacity on May 1 and will not be using a wait list this year, i.e. Number on Wait List = 0.

Please post such Colleges here:

Warren Wilson College

Warren Wilson College

Carnegie Mellon University- Carnegie Institute of Technology

Gettysburg College
Franklin and Marshall College

This means the colleges will take very few, if any, off the waitlist this year, right? If so, Columbia and Penn may use their wait list later, but they are currently over capacity.

I added Columbia, Harvey Mudd, Penn, Yale.

Alphabetically:
Carnegie Mellon University- Carnegie Institute of Technology
Carnegie Mellon University- School of Computer Science
Columbia University
Franklin and Marshall College
Gettysburg College
Harvey Mudd College
Warren Wilson College
University of Pennsylvania
Yale University

Cornell University, at least the College of Arts and Sciences at this point.

I know someone that got off the waitlist at Gettysburg about 2 weeks ago, but decided to stick with his school that he deposited at.

Really?
May be the wait lists for international students and domestic students are different. I am an international students. A few days ago, Gettysburg sent me an email indicating that they would not use the wait list this year.

^^^

I think he was some type of athletic recruit, so maybe that was the difference
