Colleges on the Great Lakes

Can you list any colleges on the Great Lakes. For example schools like Carthrage or Northwestern. Thanks.

Gannon and Mercyhurst along Lake Erie in Erie PA.

Lake Superior State in the Michigan Upper Pen.

Minnestoa -Deluth is on, or near the lake as well.

Nothern Michigan University

U Wisconsin, Madison? SUNY Buffalo?

Wisconson-Madison is smack in the middle of Wisconson.

Suny-Oswego is on the lake as well.

UWM, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Located on the upper East Side of Milwaukee – the city’s most beautiful neighborhood – less than a mile from Lake Michigan. And it’s not only “on” the great lakes, it also is home to the foremost academic research center about the Great Lakes.

Then again, Lake Mendota is a pretty great lake, even if not a Great Lake.

Loyola University, on Chicago’s North Side, is smack on Lake Michigan. The University of Chicago on the South Side is about two blocks away from the Lake.

Cleveland State is less than a mile from Lake Erie. LOL. This thread is getting silly. But when you think about it, there are very few schools that are directly on any great body of water in this country.

University of Rochester is near Lake Ontario (within a few miles).

Niagara U is near Niagara Falls.

Northland College is a small LAC in Ashland, WI on Lake Superior. It specializes in environmental issues.

St. Scholastica is a small private school in Duluth, MN.

Lake Forest College (Lake Michigan), Buffalo State College (Lake Erie), SUNY Brockport (Lake Ontario) and Hope College (Lake Michigan) are four more that come to mind.

U of Toronto is not right on the lake, but the city certainly is.

Northwestern University borders Lake Michigan
