Colleges right below ivy level? Which ones, can i get it?

hoping to write a stellar essay and get great teacher recommendations</p>

<p>is it even worth applying to ivy league schools? are cornell, Upenn, UChicago out of my reach?
would it be appropriate to apply to schools such as cornel, NYU, BU, UMich?
i know i can technically apply to any of these schools, but wat are my chances of being accepted?
dont need financial aid, indian girl, deciding between undergrad focused on engineering or law</p>

<p>I would go ahead and apply to Cornell, UPenn, and UChicago. Like you, I’m considering the sciences (and possibly engineering) as a major, and by being female, the likelihood of you getting in will increase. My only suggestion is to retake the SAT I if at all possible or try the ACT because such elite schools will focus in on those numbers more than we all want them too…</p>
