<p>No college or university places more emphasis on standardized test scores than they do on grades. Your grades, and the courses that you earned them in, are the best predictor that you will be able to perform at the level these institutions expect.</p>
<p>Talk to your guidance counselor about his/her experience in helping students with a transcript like yours find suitable colleges/universities to apply to. Chances are he/she has years of experience with this kind of situation.</p>
<p>Happymomof1 is right, that grades are most important. With that said, public universities, in my opinion, are more likely to be forgiving of poor grades than are private universities.</p>
