Colleges That Only Care About GPA

Just wondering if there are any colleges that have a minimum GPA or that will not accept anyone under a certain GPA? One that comes to mind is UCLA?

All UC’s not just UCLA, have a minimum UC GPA required for in-state and OOS applicants.

@rosedancer1 Quite a few schools (including UC’s), as well as many graduate schools, set minimum GPA requirements, usually to weed out students that may not be qualified. The GPA requirement might be a 2.0/4 or 2.5/4, for example (although in UC’s case, a 3.0 or 3.4 depending on whether you’re in-state or out-of-state).

However I don’t know of any colleges that only care about GPA - standardized tests such as the SAT or ACT are taken into account. For schools that are test-optional, and many other schools that require standardized tests, other factors are often taken into account.

Mississippi public universities admit Mississippi resident frosh with 3.20 HS GPA, regardless of SAT or ACT scores.
