<p>I’m interested in fashion design, but also in communication as well. What colleges are there that offer both? Or is strong is communication?</p>
<p>Well, I don’t think they do communications, but if you’re seriously interested in fashion design you should seriously consider FIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. It’s in CA. I have a friend who goes there are loves it.</p>
<p>Syracuse and Marist (NY) have very good communications programs and also have fashion design. Drexel also has both.</p>
<p>I’m actually from Los Angeles and I don’t have any interest in staying in Los Angeles which is where FIDM is, but I have some friends that like it as well. I’ll check syracuse and Marist out. Thanks!</p>

<p>At Syracuse University you could dual major in fashion design through the College of Visual and Performing Arts and communications at the S.I. Newhouse School of public communications. One of the best in the country. In the communications school I would recommend “Magazine Journalism” as a major but Newhouse is extremely competitive so I’d advice you to bring in your best stats.</p>

<p>I don’t know much about fashion, but Northwestern has an excellent communications program. It’s rather competitive though, so, not knowing your stats, it’s hard to say whether it’s a good choice or not.</p>
<p>As stated Newhouse is really the best around for Communications. Maryland College Park has a very strong Communications department as well. Plus right now ESPN’s Kevin Blackistone is teaching their right now</p>
