Is 2250 (800CR, 740M, 710W (70MC, 9 Essay) good enough for these colleges? I would probably do better if I take it again in January (at least +60 on math and +10 in Writing. I usually get less than 7 wrong on the MC section)

Is 2320 good enough? Would it make any difference?

2250’s good enough for UC Berkeley, USC, Rice, John Hopkins, Cornell, and Northwestern, but I’m not going to say it guarantees you an acceptance, since your essay, GPA, and activities are also important. =]

Yes. it’s a good point you made yummymango.

Which of these schools superscore?

I know Duke and Columbia superscore, but idk about others.

Berkeley does not.

Berkeley i’m not worried about…i got 2250 this time. The average SAT score for Berkeley is somewhere around high 2100s

BUMP

Can you tell me how to determine which colleges superscore? Is there any consolidated list out there?

^UCs don’t superscore, but most privates do. USC, Ivy League… and so on. Right?

By the end of junior year, I would have around 3.79UW and 4.42W.
With 800CR, 740 Math, 710 Writing and 800 on MathIIC, 790 Korean, 750+ on US, Chem, and Lit, average/good EC, Essay, Recs, etc

can I get into those aforementioned schools?

:( No one answers my question?

Columbia and Duke does superscore…

idk if there’s a consolidated list

Squelchy, with those stats, you’ll have high chances of getting into John Hopkins, Berekely, USC, and probably Rice. For others, you’re probably either at par with the typical applicant.

bump bump bump bump bump

we should make a consolidated list…at least of colleges taht DONT superscore

i know for sure however that uc’s don’t, usc does.

does anyone know about rice?

bump bump bump bump
