Colleges w/Equestrian Program/Michigan

My d is a junior, honors student, looking for a college that has an equestrian program and either headed for medical or veterinary school.

Do you want the college to be in Michigan?
If not, Stanford has beautiful stables right on campus and plenty of private barns nearby.

Many colleges, public and private in Virginia have an Equestrian program. From UVa to JMU to Washington and Lee to DIII schools like Hollins, Roanoke, Sweet Briar, Bridgewater College, and others.

Here is a link to the IHSA page. Click on your region. There are several schools in Michigan and the surrounding states. Most schools that have a team will also offer an animal science/equine major.

Friend of our family went to Albion College in Michigan in part for their equestrian program.

I am assuming you live in Michigan. If so and your daughter is interested in going to one of the out of state schools on the IHSA list you might get a tuition discount with the Midwest Student Exchange Program. It depends on what her major will be and which school she is interested in. I just thought I would mention it as it possibly could expand her list to Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, Kansas etc.
