Colleges w/ the meanest students

Another school that has a ton of mean and elitist students: BOSTON COLLEGE.

That’s right, that Jesuit school in the northeast that’s a safety school for Notre Dame and Georgetown rejects.

Seriously though, Boston College is a fine institution. I repeat, Boston College is a fine institution. But Boston College students are a mirror image of University of Southern California students (not so much the looks, but the attitude). BC students have to be some of the snobbiest students in the United States. They have some nerve to chant “safety school” to my Top 50 university – even though Boston College is ranked like 5 to 10 spots higher than my school. C’mon, it’s pathetic – is 5 to 10 spots really a BIG difference? Is a Top 40 university considered that much more prestigious than a Top 50 university? (Okay, some elitists will argue yes, but let’s be real.)

Boston College students so desperately want to be accepted by the elite universities. They’re probably the only students out there who are actually PROUD of being labeled “Harvard rejects.” BC students like to brag about being rejected by Harvard because it shows that BC students are very ambitious and apply to Harvard in high numbers. Of course, my braindead classmate who smokes weed can also apply to Harvard…

BC students are similar to USC students in that they feel the need to knock down and degrade lower ranked universities in order to make themselves feel like they attend an “elite” university. It’s so pathetic to watch Boston College students make fun of schools ranked five to ten spots lower than them. They actually think that a school ranked in the mid to low 30s is prestigious and that a school ranked in the 40s is a TTT.

Sorry, but can’t stand Boston College students. Next to USC, they’re probably the most elitist bunch – and unlike Ivy League students, Boston College students don’t have the right to claim that they’re elite and that a school ranked below Top 40 is a TTT.

Duke University definitely has a reputation for having a ton of [language deleted] students and alumni. That reputation has been cemented in part due to the “Cameron Crazies.”

I think that in terms of which truly elite university produces the most elitist jerks, Duke definitely has to be up there. (USC and BC students are definitely up there to, but they are more pseudo-elite/quasi-elite than anything else.)
