<p>When I was doing my Indian Studies degree the schools that had Tamil programs were University of Wisconsin-Madison, UT - Austin. There are quite a few others that have South Asian Studies programs and most of those will offer Tamil.</p>
<p>Besides Texas and Wisconsin…Harvard, Berkeley, Chicago, Penn, Syracuse, Michigan, Yale and others.</p>
