I am looking onto colleges with a high financial aid package and I could not find any specific information. Can anyone please tell me a list of colleges with the highest grant and financial aid package? I am not aiming for the Ivies or any top tier college.
This will be different given each applicant. This will be different given merit aid packages.
Also, many states give the highest grant money for instate residents, so it won’t matter what the amounts are if you don’t qualify for them.
In general, if you Google “Colleges that meet need” you will see a list of colleges that claim to meet financial need (by their measurement of that need, though). And not all of those schools are need blind (meaning that if you have a lot of need, a school would look at that and it might make it less likely that you would be admitted). The need blind schools aren’t that easy to get into, though.
Other options that can be lower cost are in-state public schools.
Each college has a net price calculator on their website that you should run with your parents to see what you might be expected to pay.

You need to look instate and apply to schools that suit your stats. you have a 1040 SAT right? I think you should strongly consider community college first.
