<p>I was wondering if anybody knows about any other universities with the university of california style application. By that I mean, the application has no reccomendations or transcript involved and the entire app is done by the student. Or if not exactly like the UCs, are there any with just recs from teachers. I have not really looked into many schools, but Im wondering if theres any schools on, say, the US News top 75ish for National universities.</p>
<p>Hmm…I was going to say Cal States in that they don’t require recs or transcripts yet…but they’re not national. Usually public schools don’t require recs. I found the Common App site to be useful since it has a list of colleges. You click on a college and see what they require. Sorry i couldn’t answer better.</p>
<p>well i am from the midwest, so i wouldnt end up going to cal state schools. I was just looking for good schools, either as safeties or matches, so that in case i did want to apply last minute or over winter break, i could do that without having to deal with teachers and counselors.</p>
