Collegiately confused on where to attend

<p>I’d like to start off this thread by saying im not trying to be pretentious or conceited by listing the colleges i’ve gotten into, im not here to brag, just to gather insight from people who have experience or knowledge in comparing college life, i thank all of you in advance for the time.</p>

<p>Ive recently been admitted to Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Boston College, and Lehigh and ive found that by visiting each one, I’am more excited for college than ever but havent been able to differentiate the experience from one another. I find that i love each and every college equally, and financially each with cost about the same so thats not a problem, but i may only be looking at hindsight as the admitted student programs are designed to glorify the colleges. The way it shapes up id really like to be an engineering major and have been admitted in computer engineering to JHU and Lehigh, but am doing business at BC and admitted to CAS at Cornell, all majors that i can realistically see myself doing in the near future.</p>

<p>After all this i know there is no absolute RIGHT choice to make but it leaves me to wonder if anyone has advice or critique to any one of these colleges to help me ultimately make my decision? Thanks so much in advance.</p>

If you’d really like to be an engineering major, go to a school where you will be an engineering major.</p>

<p>I’d really recommend following your gut instinct. I would give an edge to JHU over Lehigh, but it’s not enough to outweigh your intuition.</p>

<p>Well you could:</p>

<p>break it down by cost, which one costs more, which one less</p>

<p>Did you get awards from these schools? Such as scholarships</p>

<p>How good is the particular program you wish to go into at that school? Is one better than another?</p>

<p>What about campus location, is it close to stores and fun places, or is it out in the middle of nowhere.</p>

<p>What about dorms, how are they? How is the food?</p>

<p>Such questions would help nerrow it down further.</p>
