Colored Jeans/Pants - what colors do you own?

Me too. I also love to wear turquoise.

A million years ago I fell in love with a window display of brightly colored penny loafers in a store window in Rome. They were similarly beyond my budget.

I have a pair of purple NYDJ jeans. I wear them a lot. I have some white ones from LL Bean that I never wear partly because they are a bit too long (I don’t wear heels ever) and partly because I like a skinnier cut.

I kind of like that first abstract link - but I’d probably need to invest in some cuter shoes.

I have lots of colored and print jeans. I have 2 JCrew liberty print pairs, red, purple, yellow, hot pink, aqua- I can’t remember all of them! I love them.

I have colored jeans (sort of) – one pair’s black, one’s white.

re: driving shoes - I think they were designed when driving meant using both feet (i.e., working the clutch on a stick shift car). I don’t know anyone who uses both feet to drive an automatic. In theory, if you drive an automatic, you should have more grippy things on the right sole than left.

I own blue and black jeans. My other pants are all pretty neutral - gray, khaki, brown, navy. I do drive a stick shift car but only wear sneakers, never heard of driving shoes. I don’t care about what is in!

^Well my old boss occasionally borrowed my stick shift and then couldn’t get the clutch to engage because her heels were too high. It took us ages to figure out what the issue was. I don’t think the grippyness is a big deal - I think that’s just a way to get us to buy more shoes.

I do have a bright red pair of converse sneakers. :)

Bonus points for the red Converse. :)

Blue, black, and a sort of golden khaki color…as much as I like looking at other people in all those exciting colors, I’ve learned that it makes me feel uncomfortable. I like to blend in, I guess.

I don’t want to draw attention to my a–, ahem, bottom half.

I’d rather wear colorful tops and scarfs to draw the eyes upward ;)

chocchip, agreed, I don’t want attention drawn below the waist. However, I love the look of all the bright colored pants. So found colored drab in the line up, that can be dressed up a bit. Bought two pairs recently, olive green and darkish grey blue. A little more dressed up than blue jeans, and fun.

chocchipcookie – you are so right – I went to an event where a lady was selling jewelry, and she made a point of saying we should all think of the “picture frame” (putting a frame around her own face) to symbolize where to put our clothing dollars — in jewelry, scarves, blouses – because most people look at our face when they’re talking to us, so the area around our face is much more important than what we’re wearing on our lower half.

I guess my thought there ^^^is that I would want them looking at my face not my scarf or jewelry ! However I’m sure from a jewelry sellers point of view that method of thinking works!

It’s ok if you don’t like or don’t want to wear colored jeans. But since I do like them and love color - even on the bottom - I enjoy hearing what colors you all have!!!
