Columbia alumni interviewers

When do interviewers find out which of the candidates they interviewed were accepted (if any)?

Why would they care?

Alumni interviewers do care. My interviewer (ED) found out that I got in a few days after I received notice. I believe that the website they use to submit evaluations also provides information about acceptances among their interviewees.

Because they’re interested in the consequences of their interview reports? They are volunteers, you know, so I’d expect as much.

I emailed my interviewer after I got in and he was just as excited as I was. Cool stuff.

Alumni interviewers are very influential in the acceptance process
